Designer Lincoln Kayiwa was born in Uganda but studied arts and design in Finland and resides in Helsinki. His work has been noticed by design magazines around the world, and he most certainly is one of the upcoming young talents to notice.
The Aakkoset bookshelf is my favorite design by Kayiwa. It’s colorful, it’s practical, and it’s simple design makes a huge statement. The bookshelf is around 6 feet tall and works as a room divider as well.
Diplodocus clothes rack is another example of Kayiwa’s design style and how a simple idea can make such a statement. The Diplodocus clothes racks work in public spaces as well at homes – I can see this in spacious lofts and in hotel lobbies.
