When it comes to lifestyle, luxury, and fashion, the French seem to nail it every time. The recent collaboration between legendary spirit brand Pernod Ricard and fashion house Maison Kitsuné is no exception. The partnership includes a limited-edition Pernod Absinthe bottle design which debuted in New York City on October 15th.
In speaking about the recent collaboration, Clare Kanter, VP, White Sprits, Pernod Ricard said “Pernod Absinthe has always been deeply ingrained in the culture of art, which is filled with curious and open-minded people constantly in search of new ways to express themselves and their passion.” Kanter points out something very important, namely expressing one’s self through their choice of beverage. Just as I express myself through fashion and style, I like to select drinks that express myself as well, and this collaboration represents a fusion of fashion and art lifestyles.
There will be 10,000 bottles available globally of which only 1,000 will be available in the United States. The special edition bottle is a combination of Japanese refinement, for which Maison Kitsuné is known, infused with rock n’ roll sensibility of the brand.
The collaboration was celebrated at the launch on October 15 at the Maison Kitsuné store inside the chic NoMad hotel here in New York. Notable guests and industry insiders sipped signature cocktails while enjoying live performances.
The limited edition bottle can purchased in New York City at Beacon Wines, Liquors and Lowrey’s, and De Lauren Wines & Liquors.
