Maison Kitsuné Releases Special Holiday Capsule Collection

Recently home from a trip to Paris, I have been inspired by everything I saw during my visit to the city of lights. Whether it was champagne, beautiful scenery, or, of course, fashion. It was great to see some of my favorite brands in their “hometown.” One brand I visited first hand while in Paris was Maison Kitsuné. This brand is always up to something interesting whether its a new collection, collaboration, or even opening a café. I was excited to see the release of the Maison Kitsuné holiday capsule collection. Holiday collections from designers are some of my favorite of the year- a lot of great pieces I own come from these smaller collections that brands release in early to mid November. This year’s collection from Maison Kitsuné caught my eye with its simplistic pieces designed exclusively for the brand by Danish designer Peter Jensen. Overall, the collection is cheeky and electric which is very Maison Kitsuné. The collection is an ode to the glamor of the seventies and is accented with playful details, including a fur jacket, cardigans, striped sweatshirts and dresses for women, as well as a gingham shirt and cream-colored corduroy suit for men. The capsule also features a chic wallet and purse, both cheerfully branded with Peter Jensen’s iconic rabbit and Maison Kitsuné’s beloved fox, perfect additions to this seasonal special collection and ideal gift options for the fun-loving friends on your holiday list.   The collection was photographed in Los Angeles by Henrik Purienne, founder of Mirage magazine.
