This past week has been yet another roller coaster in my life. BlissDom Conference was bliss. Barbara Jones of
One2One Network and Allison Worthington of
Fussypants did phenomenal job, it was truly an amazing conference, and I recommend not missing any event Barbara is part of. And it was so nice to meet Alli, she is a true Southern Belle with a heart of gold and she truly made us feel so welcome in Nashville. If you missed the conference – lucky you, you can get the conference panels now as
transcripts! What’s a women’s blogging conference if there is no drama – drama enough to make a movie out of. Read
Elevator 13 Coming Soon to a Theater Near You to read about the comedy script of the horrible happenings of 13 women gotten stuck in an elevator while in BlissDom Conference in Hotel Preston. I kid you not. True story. While I was gone.. a water pipe broke in our apartment. This is the third water damage we’ve had in this apartment since we moved here last August. We were considering moving out, this is just getting ridiculous. Well, we were thinking of moving… this was before my husband broke his ankle. Matt had a surgery on Thursday, and he has been recovering since. So obviously, we are not planning on moving out any time soon. Let’s just get that man walking again. At the same time… my email box is filling with amazing opportunities and one of them is going to Los Angeles next week. I was invited to a special event hosted by Frito-Lay. I can not wait to tell you more details! And yes, I understand that I will be leaving the man with three kids and he is not able to walk… but he is a superman, and I’m not asking for anything I couldn’t do myself. And I know what it is to be not able to walk around, I’ve had 3 knee surgeries and a broken
ankle last fall. Life is a roller coaster, but I enjoy it. Oh, by the way, speaking of roller coasters, I would love to see the new Manta at SeaWorld Orlando – Lucretia aka GeekMommy has a
ticket giveaway you should check out. Or maybe not, because I would love to win it, after all, I am the master of roller coasters of life.

How do the two of you keep breaking things? Yikes! Hope he’s managing while you’re gone. Hugs to the hubby!

BlissDom was amazing, wasn’t it? I am so glad we got a chance to meet. Did you see our photo together? It turned out really good, I placed it in the flickr group for BlissDom’09. I can’t wait to meet up again, hopefully I will head to New York one day!
BlissDom’09 was very exciting for a two day get-away, probably the best one I’ve had in a LONG time.

It’s a good thing bliss and drama came before the reality, and that reality was topped off by an amazing opportunity! All that should help give you something to smile and laugh about when you really want to scream:) Its been said that: “Happiness equals reality minus expectations” so continue to enjoy the ride and leave out the expectations. We wish the best for you and your husband and hope all is well soon. Sista-WAHMs gives this roller coaster of life two thumbs up, great ride!
