The floor is stone-looking tile (easy install), and the countertop is marble bringing the earthy beach element into the room instantly. The white wainscoting wraps around the room dividing the wall space and making the small bathroom look larger – the striped shower curtain also helps to make the room look larger. The coral wallpaper is very fresh looking, enough beach cottage style without overly cutesy. It is very easy to go overboard when you decorate with a theme, and this bathroom has been done very well bringing the beach in without going overboard. Bring this look into your bathroom with these products. Beach House bathroom, design seaside bathroom, coastal living Striped Shower Curtain ($58) from Garnet Hill gives a nice pop and contrast if you are painting the walls with light color, or have light colored wallpaper, like suggested in the picture. If you want to bring beach into your bathroom immediately without big changes, just get the 12 oz. Ceramic Caddy Set in Sea Breeze ($20) from SJ Creations, the scent will instantly take you to the beach. If you are willing to do bigger changes to your bathroom, I recommend the rock pebble or natural stone-style tile flooring. It is not as expensive as natural stone, and it’s also gentler on your feet. The Solistone Indonesian Mosaic Alor Crystal by Onyx Stone Floor & Wall Tile is from Home Depot. Finish a nice white vanity with marble top with a faucet that makes a statement, like the Pfister’s Ashfield Brushed Nickel Double-Handle WaterSense Faucet ($262.48) from Lowe’s. The white medicine cabinet mirror ($249) is from Pottery Barn, and the shower curtain rings ($11.95) from Crate and Barrel. The toilet paper roll stand ($16.69) from Amazon.com. Look for wallpapers in your local wallpaper stores, or choose paint instead for more timeless look, and bring in the corals and beach prints in with towels and pictures on the wall instead. , , ,
