Life life to the fullest: create your own path
Last week I spoke about
having courage just move forward towards a goal or destination, even when the journey is difficult. Today I would like to remind that all roads are not equal, and you need to create your own path. With this I mean that what works for someone else, might not work for you. It is easy to compare yourself, (and even your choices and dreams) with other people, and fall into thinking that if we make the same choices and choose the same path as they do, the outcome would be the same for us too.
It is easy to inspired by others, and it’s even easy to try to copy and mimic what they are doing. You still have to always remember that you don’t know everything what is going on with other people’s lives, and how their journey is shaping. Things are rarely as they seem, and you might be making a big mistake by trying to follow someone else’s path, instead of creating your own. Trust your own gut and ideas of what you think are the best choices for your life more than the cookie-cutter solutions someone else has already figured out.
Besides – when you succeed in your goals, you will know that it was all thanks to YOU that got you to the end, not because you were just a follower. Don’t be a follower. Be the creator of your own journey.
