My youngest one Kristian turned five years old today! Happy Birthday Kris!
I can’t believe how fast time has gone. Kris was born in New York, and until just recently he would introduce himself just to about anyone with a statement “I’m Kris and I’m from New York”. Now he is very proud to be a mountain dude, and can’t wait to learn to do “all the crazy stuff” on the skis.
This past year has been time of big changes for Kris – even his sister Gaby started Kindergarten on fall, and now Kris has been the only kid who isn’t in school yet. First it was a bit shock, he missed girls a lot during days, but now he has learnt to enjoy the time with just parents.
Today was a special day, just three of us, while girls were at school. We took Kris for a shopping spree and this little guy is just too sweet. Of all of items he could have picked, he picked shoes, glow-in-the-dark underwear, other clothes, even socks! He also picked out new DVDs for a grande b-day party tonight. We went to eat at his favorite Mexican restaurant (thanks dude for not picking out McD.) and he was so happy when the waitresses were singing happy birthday to him!
Tonight we had a big movie night and he ended up falling a sleep before the movie was over…
Some pics of Kris, when he was still four..
