Live a little: Daydream on Pinterest!

I just came home from our amazing trip to Germany, and guess what we did the entire day today driving home? We talked about our next trip(s), where we wanted to go the next and what we wanted to do. It doesn’t matter how much or how little I travel, a huge part of traveling is daydreaming of the places I want to visit.

Live a little: day dream on Pinterest

Today as part of Live a Little, I would like to encourage you to day dream. (Yes, I said we’d go on hiatus, but we are not due to popular demand). I think the day dreaming is partially why we love Pinterest so much, isn’t it? I have a board just for places I want to visit and on the top of that I have boards for several different countries and their lifestyles; the food, the fashion, the architecture, the places, the culture. I don’t even have to visit all of the countries to FEEL I am living life to the fullest like I was visiting – or living – in that country. So next time when you read posts like 10 Feel Good Travel Experiences and Destinations, Pin them for future day dreaming too, and allow yourself to day dream, but remember to make those dreams to come true sometimes too! Follow Skimbaco Lifestyle on Pinterest for excellent day dreaming ideas.

  1. You know I am not a big Pinterest girl and have often wondered about its popularity. This makes perfect sense. It goes beyond the images and creates a feeling. One that you can have, be or do the things IN the images.

Yes – it’s great for collecting and daydreaming – but the best is to LIVE your Pinterest boards. I have gotten so many travel ideas from Pinterest, and for example found Burano, Italy, on Pinterest and traveled there this year to see it myself!
