Blog It Forward To Fight Hunger

I just found out about ShopRite’s ShopRite Partners In Caring. For the past 10 years, ShopRite Partners In Caring has donated $20 million to more than 1,400 charities, including emergency food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, child care centers, battered women’s shelters, senior citizen programs, drug rehab centers, programs for the mentally and physically disabled, after-school programs and other organizations that aid those in need. ShopRite Partners In Caring helps to feed families and the elderly who may otherwise go without food, and to raise awareness of the plight of the hungry by involving with their vendors, associates and customers in the battle against hunger in the communities served by ShopRite stores. Today there is more need for assistance than ever in our communities, and I wanted to share this with you – and hopefully there is someone you can share it with too! Every time you buy an item marked with the special ShopRite Partners In Caring shelf tag, you are supporting ShopRite Partners in Caring. Each of the 200 ShopRite uses its share of funds raised to support local charities, your purchases benefit the needy in your own community.
