Yesterday I showed
5 ways to wear tassels this spring and featured some jewelry and shoes. The best about this trend is that you don’t necessary have to spend ton of money, and I featured several inexpensive tassel accessories. Same continues – many of these picks are affordable with a few drool-worthy products in for eye candy and inspiration. This trend is so hot that several products I was going to feature sold out during the past week while I was writing this post!
6. TASSEL BELTS
I have been drooling some wide leather belts that are several hundreds of dollars, but skinny belts work as well, and are so much more inexpensive. I like the leather belts the best, but have fun with the colorful tassel belts, especially is you have a waist to show off. I have a bad habit of trying to hide my waist as much as I can, but the hiding part actually just makes it look bigger. Use a belt on the smallest part of your waist (right under your belly button) to make your waist look smaller and enhance the curves, the rule of thumb is the wider the waist, the wider your belt should be, and thick belts look great on women even who naturally don’t have the hourglass figure. But trying to keep the tassel trend budget friendly, I recommend these two belts for twenty dollars each. The
skinny tassel hip belt ($19.95) has one large tassel on the side, and would be great for a day look. For day and evening I like the
mini stud tassel belt ($20) in beige.
The cheapest way is to create your own tassel belt from supplies from any craft store. You can also find handmade tassel belts from Etsy for really good prices, for example
Sewsouk sells silk tassel belts for only $6 plus shipping.
7. TOPS, TUNICS, SHIRTS
If you are trying to stay in the budget and get some fashionable tops with boho tassels and beautiful prints, I recommend checking out what
Lucky Brand has to offer. Their selection is wide and prices are very good for the good quality. Textile designer John Robshaw also created a really nice collection of tunics, tops and accessories for Lucky with really cute prints, and some of the styles like the
Peasant Tunic ($89.50) has tassels. I also like the
Ipanema Embroided Smock top ($89.50). If the bohemian look isn’t for you, you might like the
Peacock Top from Forever21, it is only $17.80 and I love the look – be warned with the quality though, it’s mainly polyester, and hand was recommended, and may not even last as long as the tassel trend does.

8. TASSEL CLUTCH
The clutch has its separate entry from just “handbags”, clutch reminds so trendy that I had to feature a few of them.
The black
Urban Expressions clutch is only $48 but it’s not real leather but it’s a great option if you don’t want to get married to a new clutch. However, the
Helen Kaminski Tulla clutch in the softest leather ($425) is perfect if you are ready for happily ever after. I personally love the
Bloom of Orient Shimmer Clutch ($58) and its flower print, it’s perfect for spring and summer, and it’ll give color to simple outfit and will go with dress or jeans, and the price is just right for something trendy and fun. Also, the
Parentesi ($115) suede clutch is a great option. It comes in several different colors, and it’s trendy and timeless at the same time making it maybe a bit smarter choice.
9. TASSEL BAGS
When it comes to the rest of the bag styles… There are so many to choose from with tassels. Here are some different styles – and different price ranges too. If you know me… I can’t feature handbags without featuring a Michael Kors bag, so let’s get it over with… The
MICHAEL Michael Kors Braided Grommet Shoulder Tote ($328) is gorgeous everyday tote it all bag for spring and summer. If that’s too posh, the smaller
M>ASOS leather three tassel bag is a steal for $89.65 and yes, you rad it right, it’s leather. A little bit cheaper, and I like the style better too is
M>Nine West Kirra Hobo ($79) but I think it’s faux leather. I absolutely love the
M>Elaine Turner Stacey Hobo ($162 sale price), it’s bright pink, and leather, and just the right size and so trendy with the tassels. It would be perfect with simple outfits and combined with black. I always go with safe choices but one day you will see me using a bag like this.
10. SCARVES WITH TASSELS
One of the easiest way to turn your outfit from winter to summer is to ditch the heavy scarves and turn into lighter ones. Scarves are also the easiest way to get color and to pull together your outfit. They are also very inexpensive to stay trendy when you don’t want to renew your wardrobe when fashion comes and goes. I like the
John Robshaw for Lucky Brand scarf ($49) for color pop, but my absolute favorite is the
Ikat Scarf ($115) from AllSaints. The colors are awesome making it a perfect scarf with so many different outfits. If you like more romantic style, the
Anna lace double tassel scarf ($32) is very cute. And for crisp spring looks, and even sailor look, the
Cejon Stripe Tassel Scarf ($18) is awesome, including its low price.
